  1. I was standing on a corner in downtown Las Vegas and noticed a hundred dollar chip from the Palms lying on the sidewalk, pretty odd considering the Palms is nowhere near downtown.

  2. Well I’ve never broken a bone, or gotten myself seriously injured yet, so that’s pretty lucky I think.

  3. I once won $1000 from a radio station, one of those contests where they call your name out, and you have 10 minutes to call in. It was blessing, because we desperately needed 4 new tires on our vehicle and weren’t sure how we were going to afford them!

  4. The luckiest thing to happen to me may have been finding our house. It was exactly what we wanted and perfect for us!

  5. I felt lucky hen I met and married my husband. We’ve been together over 17 years now.

  6. I was lucky that I wasn’t going down the freeway when the bottom fell out of my car! (It happened when the mechanic was test driving my car right in front of my driveway).

  7. I’d have to say when a British convoy sped by us and some insurgents misfired their IED trying to hit them and fortunately missed everyone. Felt good to get back after that one.

  8. It’s a little chiche, but my kids are the luckiest things that ever happened to me 🙂

  9. I feel lucky to have gotten my job because some of my greatest friendships were started here!

  12. The luckiest thing that ever happened to me was my daughter. After years of problems conceiving she was my miracle.

  13. One time I was at this event hosted by a radio station where we listened to clips of songs and marked down whether we liked the song or not. At the end, they had a raffle drawing for all sorts of prizes. I won the grand prize – $100! I felt very lucky. 🙂

  16. I was having blood tests, breast cancer screening, etc to figure out why I was so tired and feeling sick. I had a pregnany blood test said not pregnant. a week later Had breast cancer xray. 2 weeks later I Made apt with my dr and they said my test was positive. Turns out I was pregnant.

  17. My luckiest moment was when they found an arrhythmia by accident and did an emergency angiogram. They found a 90% occlusion in my LAD and put in stents saving my life. No chest pain, no heart attack, no warning.
